Late, sorry. Movie looks quite interesting with Woody Allen directing, who I liked as an actor, so hopefuly hes a good director. (/me prays) Quality looks pretty flawless, no screener messages ir black and white screens to report of. Although there could be some further in the movie. Overall though, this seems pretty nice. :)

Two young Americans spend a summer in Spain and meet a flamboyant artist (Javier Bardem) and his beautiful but insane ex-wife (Penelope Cruz). Vicky (Rebecca Hall) is straight-laced and about to be married. Cristina (Scarlett Johansson) is a sexually adventurous free spirit. When they all become amorously entangled, the results are both hilarious and harrowing.

    No offense intended here, Lee, but you don’t have to run to imdb to find out who directed a film. It’s usually right up there on the screen.

    I also found your comment pretty funny because generally Woody Allen is not looked upon as a good actor so much as a great director who also acts. It’s kind of like saying you enjoy Elvis Presley movies but you don’t know if he was a good singer. Or perhaps: “Gee, that Paul Newman salad dressing is great! And you say he was in films too?”

    Woody also did some fantastic stand-up comedy in the sixties, which you should search out if you are at all fond of laughing.

    Great post though. Looking forward to watching this.

    I always use the links to imdb just to check to see if the ratings have changed and to see the entire cast etc. This movie looks intriguing, and i admit that’s mostly because of Scarlett ;)
