Group NODLABS (I <3 their NFO) just pre’d this straight to video movie, which was adapted from a novel (from which I got the poster) originally aired on BBC2, this could be interesting.

Plot: A writer (Cumberbatch) takes a backwards look at the life of his unlikely friend Stuart (Hardy), a homeless alcoholic who experienced a traumatic event in his childhood.
