Synopsis: Lee Friedlander’s comedy Out at the Wedding concerns a woman named Alex who takes efforts to hide the fact she is engaged to a bi-racial man from her judgmental family. After a series of misunderstandings, many people think Alex is a lesbian, but the issue gets complicated when Alex’s newlywed sister meets the woman she thinks is Alex’s significant other.
