Plot:In the dumps from her baby’s cot death, pianist Ching-ching (Su) goes on vacation to Taiwan’s scenic east coast with husband Hsiung (Chang Han) in hopes of repairing their marriage. Meanwhile, alcoholic Aboriginal Biung (Ulao Ugan), a native of the region, is trying to quit the sauce with help from God, spouse Mei (Mo Ka-yi) and tomboy daughter Savi (Tu Hsiao-han). Also driving around is a Christian minister, Yellow Bull (Kao), who’s trying to help a young wastrel, Hsien (Jonathan Chang). Characters eventually cross paths after an auto accident in the mountains caused by a stray dog.
