[Mropinion] Okay here’s a STV release of a film called the day the earth stopped, its by the same film production company (Asylum) responsible for other such rip off movies as Monster (cloverfield rip) and a low budget version of war of the worlds released the day before the Steven Spielberg version.  Its this sort of cashing in on big movie names which has gained Asylum films the nickname of “the Mock-busters”.  So really don’t expect to much from this cheap knock off.

Synopsis:Hundreds of massive intergalactic robots appear in all of the major world capitals with an ultimatum: Prove the value of human civilization or be destroyed.

    I get a kick out of the nfo…so many ppl complian about the asylum and them “ripping off” movies but whats hollywood’s new version original? plus how many asian flicks has hollywood ruined up till now…lol. alos asylum’s war of world was better than that pos tom cruise version

    I can not beleive they are allowed to release movies which are basically copys of major releases ..

    surely they can be sued for trying to cash in on the real movie to be released in few days ..
