PUKKA just released the movie adaption of one of my favourite video games of all time, quality is nice and packed on to the standard 1CD, good job PUKKA! :)

Plot: A religious charlatan (Foley), his mild mannered nephew (Ward) and a gang of bosomy commandos face off against Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in an epic battle that will determine the fate of the world in POSTAL, the latest film from controversial director Uwe Boll (“BloodRayne”). Boll roasts an entire herd of sacred cows and smashes taboos to smithereens in this over-the-top and hilariously subversive critique of modern day America. Inspired by the notorious videogame of the same name, POSTAL is a jaw-droppingly original spoof of contemporary culture and an equal opportunity offender, lampooning religious extremists, minorities, bureaucrats, immigrants, cops, women, the Holocaust, gun nuts and more with evenhanded abandon. The outrageous political and social satire stars Zack Ward (“Transformers”), Dave Foley (“News Radio”), J.K. Simmons the (“Spiderman”) trilogy, Jackie Tohn (“On the Lot”), Larry Thomas, the Soup Nazi from (“Seinfeld”), Erick Avari (“Mr. Deeds”) and Verne Troyer (“Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me”).     :O YES!!!!! I’ve been waiting for Postal to come out for soo long!!! This is gonna make a lot of people happy, the film only made it to select theatres throughout North America because of how political it is… If you’ve ever played the games (which I have not), you’ll love the movie :D Thanks a lot!!

    Played the games, and this has no resemblance to them other than the occasional mob of people with guns chasing the anti-hero. But, I did enjoy some of the humor in it, i.e. “Bahamas”… But seriously, I’m with everyone else here on the Uwe Boll thing…

    Look guys… we get it. You don’t like Uwe Boll. Unfortunately, dissing his every movie is kind of foolish… because the joke’s on you sorry sods. This one is actually brilliant.

    Hey, I know it hurts. You’ve invested a lot of typing in mocking the guy… hell, so have I. Unfortunately, it would seem his claims of never having full control of a project… thus leading to them not turning out good… were pretty much spot on. This is a very well made picture, and looks far more expensive than it’s $15 million dollar production tag.

    Postal is great. It’s funny as all hell in all the right places. If you wanna complain about it, why not try watching it first? I think you, much like I was, will be pleasantly surprised. I certainly went into it thinking I’d turn it off after 5 minutes and laugh about how bad it was…

    Even haters of Boll are encouraged to watch this one, as Boll parodies himself halfway through… pretty much having his on screen version be every bit of a bastard the net nerds claim him to be. And yes, this movie was 100% financed with Nazi gold.
