And here we are. MENTiON here with a newly released DVDSCR of the ground-breaking (or so they say) film Avatar. Quality is quite nice, both video and audio is clear. I have seen the film myself and quite honestly, if your are planning to watch all 3 hours of this film, I would wait for a BluRay release or at least a DVDRip. Either way, Enjoy!

I really like beer, and this documentary is all about beer. It has been produced by produced and directed by Anat Baron, former head of Mike’s Hard Lemonade, a beverage popular in the USA. The movie itself shows differences between large and small companies, and how advertising affects the market. This might be worth watching

Screener of this movie from 420 here. The audio I believe is cam audio as the screener was in a foreign language so instead the old cam audio has been synched to this. It’s actually fairly distracting to hear such bad audio over the images and I couldn’t concentrate for the small portion I watched. If you can put up with that then enjoy this.

A very interesting sounding movie called The Yes Men Fix The World. If you saw Jim Carreys Yes Man, this is not related to that, and more like a sequel to Yes Men (thx erebus). 2 actors go around pretending to be top exec’s off major corporations, they then lie their way into meetings and seminars, and then try to educate about greed. Quality is pretty good, studio audio and video, and no messages or B&W screens that I saw.

Synopsis: The film consists of a several pranks on major corporations and governmental agencies that are performed by Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno (in real life Jacques Servin & Igor Vamos) who fancy themselves serious anti-globalization activists.

The two pose as executives from Exxon, Dow Chemical, Halliburton and the H.U.D. They give faux corporate interviews pretending to be DOW executives in which they supposedly announce setting up a $12 billion fund for the victims of the 1984 Bhopal disaster that killed 1,773 people. The BBC fell for this prank and aired the faux interview. This caused DOW’s stock plummet. Our mindless heroes celebrate their power, but fail to realize that most of DOW’s stock is held by pension funds; in other words, regular working class retirees. The dynamic duo conveniently found a few such victims who claimed to enjoy the hoax and its impact on DOW’s stock.

Okay Here is the first really big film released as a DVD screener this year. You gotta love Hollywoods vanity for providing us with DVD quality copies just so they can win some awards.

Great Quality 2CD rip looks bit dark but that may be the style.

Havent seen any B/W scenes, just occaisional property messages.

A nice remake for a Disney animation and a great release,  sound and video are sweet, perfect to watch.
