Here’s hopefully the last release on “Iron Man” you’ll see here on SceneSource. It’s the full-HD version, delivered to you by “old-aged” group 1920. If you have the opportunity to watch this on a big screen, do it – this is most definitely the best super-hero movie Marvel have delivered so far, and deserves being watched in 1080p. I personally love the whole idea with anti-hero turning super-hero. It might sound a bit cliche in your ears, but when flawlessly executed it matters not. Video quality is way above average and includes the same audio as its little sister, miss 720p. This is the REPACK release; just like SEPTiC, they forgot to mux the subs. Finally, and not long after the DVDRip! Here it is, Marvel’s super-hero “Iron Man” in 720p, pre’d by respected group SEPTiC. Due to the fact that this flick have some really good ratings and positive reviews, I’ve saved it until it would show up in HD. That means I’m most likely one of the few people that haven’t seen it yet, so I’m ending this post here, because I just have to watch this! Here’s group NGR with the 720p version of the comedy “Leatherheads”, starring George Clooney heads-to-heads with Renée Zellweger in the main roles. I plan to watch this one, mostly because Georgie is one hell of an actor who deliver nearly flawless performance in every movie he stars in. Nearly missed this full-HD release of Rob Cohen’s action sci-fi “Stealth”. Group SUNSPOT is behind this one as well, and they pre’d it about three days ago. Imagine gorgeous Jessica Biel in 1080p, now that must be something, right?! Hopefully that makes up for the late post! Anyways, video quality is great, audio is okay but could have done better with some higher bit-rate, but I guess it’s limited due to the fact it’s a 2 hour movie. Have fun!

Synopsis: This high-action flight movie centers on a team of three sexy stealth bomber pilots who are forced to fly with EDI (Extreme Deep Invader), a computer-manned prototype plane that specializes in extra-precision bombing. The brainchild of a Bill Gates-esque wunderkind (Richard Roxburgh), EDI has the ability to learn at a fantastic rate, talks like HAL from 2001 A SPACE ODYSSEY, and likes to listen to hard rock before going into combat. Before long, a freak accident causes it to question authority and launch an attack on Russia. W.D. Richter’s script probes big issues involving man, machine, and the nuclear fate of the free world (Read: DR. STRANGELOVE meets THE TERMINATOR). But this is also an action thrill ride from Rob Cohen–the man responsible for THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS and XXX–replete with some truly tremendous explosions and speeds that outdo any mph records set in Cohen’s past ouevre. Yay! One of my favorite movies with one of my favorite actors just got realeased in full-HD by group SUNSPOT! It’s “Crank”, starring British hard-boiled action actor Jason Statham as the freelance hitman, Chev Chelios. This is a must have for any true Statham fan, or action fan for that matter. Quality-wise, there’s not much to say other then it’s VERY GOOD. Enjoy!

Synopsis: Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is about to begin his morning with an unexpected wake-up call. Here’s another limited theater movie, psychological thriller “Anamorph”. The 720p version pre’d yesterday by quality group CiNEFiLE. This is a really good independent production that I recommend everyone to see, starring well known actor Willem Dafoe as a worn-down detective with alcohol problems. If you’re into scrabble and other word puzzles, you’re going to love how they play around with anagrams. Video quality is great, and audio is rumbling DTS in 5.1 surround sound. Look out for the Red Herring!

Synopsis: Willem Dafoe (The English Patient) plays an NYPD detective who grapples with a string of unusual serial murders, perpetrated by a killer who fashions himself an artist. Group iKA pre’d the 720p version of limited Spanish CG-animated flick “Donkey Xote” some days ago. Sorry I’m a bit late with this one but I’ve been a bit busy so haven’t had the time to post it until now! Anyways, this is a quite unknown flick but seems to be very well produced! Video quality is very nice but, but audio could have had a bit higher bit-rate. Enjoy!

Here’s group HD1080p with another full-HD release. This time it’s the criminal drama “The Flock”, starring Hollywood stars Richard Gere and Clare Danes. Might be worth noting that famous rock singer Avril Lavigne plays a part as well. Other then that, there’s not much to say. Here’s the DVD screener of Disney/Pixar Animations latest CG-animated flick “WALL-E”. Pre’d just a couple of minutes ago by group ALLiANCE. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this movie, but I have yet to see it. As can be seen on the sample snaps, it has some annoying blur of the screener watermark, it’s ugly purple/pink in the sample, but takes on the color of the surrounding background – so it’s not always that intrusive. Beside of that, it’s a decent release with a pretty nice picture and good audio. Take it or leave it!
