Hey ScnSrc cats, we are looking to bring on board several new editors here at ScnSrc so if you have the time to make 1 or 2 posts a day for us and are dedicated we’d like to hear from you. We are looking for people in particular who have an interest in posting about HD movie releases, Applications and possibly Console game releases. You will need a good grasp of the English language (if you need to use babelfish to translate into English sorry, you aren’t what we are looking for), access to Scene releases through private trackers or newsgroups or whatever and be able to spend at least a little time most days to help out on the site with posts.

A new project was launched today to distribute unkown films by unkown directors to potential audiences. VODO created by the man behind “Steal this film” uses a coalition of filesharing sites including The Pirate Bay and Isohunt to host and distribute its movies for free. VODO is founded by Jamie King, one of the figures behind STEAL THIS FILM (www.stealthisfilm.com). VODO brings filmmakers together with the distribution power of the filesharing community. It aims to offer fresh, quality films on a free-to-share basis, promoted and distributed through a ‘coalition’ of filesharing partners that includes big names like The Pirate Bay, Mininova, Miro, TorrentFreak,Isohunt, Plube, OneDDL Vuze and and Frostwire, amongst many others. ‘Together, the filesharing community has a distribution capacity that rivals and even exceeds that of the mainstream media,’ says Jamie King. ‘VODO aims to leverage that power for the benefit of filmmakers and other creators.

The film is a cross between Northern Exposure and the old science fiction film The Giant Claw. For all of you not familiar with Fifties Science Fiction, The Giant Claw was about a giant flying creature from outer space who came to earth to nest. That’s what old Wyvern is doing as it lays some eggs.
