VODO have just made their 4th release and this is time it’s a quirky one. They’re embracing the old act of mixtapes by doing a release of 6 of their favourite movie shorts. Synopsis:
We’re proud to be releasing this first VODO MIXTAPE. Actual tape might be a thing of the past, but before P2P, mixtapes were the most popular way of sharing popular culture the world had known — and once called the ‘most widely practiced American art form’. We want to resuscitate the spirit of the mixtape for this VODO MIXTAPE series: compilations of our favourite shorts, the weird, the wild and the wonky, all brought together in a temporary and uncomfortable company.
Famously, ‘Home Taping Is Killing Music’ was the slogan of a 1980s anti-copyright infringement campaign by the British Phonographic Industry. The widely parodied slogan reflected the industry’s concern that sharing by tape would destroy their business. Back then, punks used mixtape culture to spread their music through networks of fans. We hope the VODO MIXTAPE works the same way, to bring new creative works direct to fans through the culture of sharing. Peer to peer pressure!

First episode of the new reality/scripted show here from WWE. I’ve watched this and is was pretty good, it’s basically Tough Enough (if you remember that show) but in front of the WWE Universe. One to watch out for is Daniel Bryan, who’s has been on the Indie circuit for 10 years or so and is now trying to get a WWE push.

Screener of this movie from 420 here. The audio I believe is cam audio as the screener was in a foreign language so instead the old cam audio has been synched to this. It’s actually fairly distracting to hear such bad audio over the images and I couldn’t concentrate for the small portion I watched. If you can put up with that then enjoy this.

Been looking forward to this movie but I won’t be watching this CAM. I can’t put up with the bad audio and video but if you can then you should check this out. Quality is “decent” for a cam, but you still might want to hang on for a better rip. Enjoy.

Movie here with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin in it. Looks like an under thought plot, but might be worth a watch when drunk or stoned. Quality is decent enough, 2CD rip and nothing to moan about. Enjoy.
