Aperture 2.1 is an outstanding photo editing program that let’s you import, manage, and enhance your photos in one simple, integrated work flow, Aperture 2.0 was released a couple of weeks ago so your asking yourself why upgrade to 2.1, well besides a few optimized tweaks and bug fixes good old apple has blessed us with an open plug-in architecture that makes it easy for photographers to use specialized third party imaging software right from within Aperture, included in this release is the Apple-developed plug-in, Dodge & Burn, which adds brush-based tools for dodge (lighten), burn (darken), contrast, saturation, sharpen and blur. Over the next few months, third party software developers will deliver image-editing plug-ins for localized editing, filters and effects, noise analysis and reduction, fisheye lens correction and more. (WOW just WOW I can’t wait to see all the cool plugins that are going to be released for this Photoshop watch out)
