The Settlers II, anyone remember that? Such an awesome game that Ubisoft have trying to re-imagine ever since. The Newest installment “Rise of An Empire” has got average reviews. Nothing special or innovative here. However a new expansion pack called “The Eastern Realm” which supposedly adds all this great stuff which can be read about below in the publishers description. In my opinion its also going to be an average xpack for an average game. The description below is long enough s i will end it here and see you all in my next post.
Description: The Settlers: Rise of an Empire – The Eastern Realm is the first add-on to The Settlers: Rise of an Empire.
The Goddess of the Green Fire doesn’t like the old Eastern Empire which is now under your rule. So as any good enemy, she threatens the current state of peace and has to be eliminated. But yours is not the only state in the Eastern Realm that is threatened by the presence of the Goddess so the beautiful Saraya, only child of Praphat, Mogul of Hidun, allies herself with you.
She is the only new hero the add-on adds to the game and her passive abilities lowers not only the building price of trading posts but also makes it cheaper to buy resources there. Her activate ability is to demand tribute from other factions.
Besides the new hero, the most obvious new addition is the climate. Much like in the winter scenarios in the original, not everything can be produced in a desert and the new weather pattern monsoon can make whole areas inaccessible due to floods. Honey, fish and corn are none existent there. To help the player to overcome these handicaps a bit, the add-on brings two new buildings to the game: the fountain and the trading post. While the fountain saves up water during the rain season which can then be used during the dry season, the trading post allows the player to engage in trading with the other factions. There are also a few new decorative objects available including a triumphal arch and a sun-dial.
The last gameplay addition is the return of the geologist, already known from the previous games. But unlike the previous games in which he scouted good places for new mines, this time he can reactivate already dry iron-mines.
Besides the new campaign the add-on also includes new multiplayer- and single player-maps. Three multiplayer-maps and four single player-maps were made by the community during a mapping contest held on the official website of the game.

NEPTUNE are the releasers of this flick, which has good ratings at IMDB, but it doesn’t really tickle my fancy. If this is something you would like to see, the quality is a pretty regular DVDRip, but at least it has nice AC3 audio.
This seems to be the day of the DVDRip, with an absolute bucketload of movies being released today, all are DVDRips. Boarding Gate was previously released as an R5, so now we have the fully fledged DVDRip. With minor video and audio over the R5, this is the version to get if you still haven’t.
Well this rather unknown movie Trainwreck, released by RESERVED, stars the well known Sean William Scott (most of you will still probably remember him as Stiffler on American Pie) as a young man who doesn’t want to do anything but party. The quality once again, is a great DVDRip with high video bitrate, and an average audio bitrate.
If your into Skateboarding movies, or are looking for a good Drama to watch, then this is for you. This has great scores at RT and IMDB, and the RT “critics” even love it, so it must be good! Anyway, quality is awesome with high bitrates all round. If this interests you then give this a watch, it is a limited film as well.
This film looks very interesting, it is about a man who is taken from London, and transported to an unknown location, throwing his life into disarray. He is kept in solitary until a few months later when he is returned to London, and he tries to adjust to the world he thought he had left behind. Thanks to the TheWretched for this flick. Quality is great as well in case you were wondering.
Sceners TRG have released this corny magic STV. I’m not sure if its a remake of the 1968 classic The Magus, but eitherway it is incredibly crap. I think the comment on IMDB sums it perfectly, cool effects don’t make a good movie, and I doubt this even has cool effects.
